OVERVIEW
The Rxtractor process is a proprietary program focused on alleviating the high cost of specialty drugs. This is a non-insurance program providing significant savings for organizations utilizing self-funded and level-funded health plans.
The program produces up to 50% savings on your specialty drug spend! The program has a positive impact on your balance sheets and P&L income statements.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Rxtractor program is made possible through the creation of a consortium of healthcare industry companies with specialties in plan design, plan implementation, pharmacy and critical care management.
The program can either replace the current Rx program and return up to 100% of the rebates or carve out the high-cost specialty drugs above a certain cost threshold. The program is designed to reduce the overall cost of the specialty drugs.
Patients/employees and members will receive their specialty drug medication directly from the manufacturer.
The program’s proprietary techniques for savings are utilized to realize the targeted 50% savings threshold. GMGC Health advocates that employers eliminate patient/employee additional Rx co-pays as an additional benefit.
HOW DO WE GET STARTED?
We begin with an analysis of the organization’s 1-2 years of previous drug spends by GMGC Health professionals. We then return to review customized pro-forma illustrating the monthly and annual savings opportunity by utilizing Rxtractor. Specialty drugs can account for as much as 80% of total drug spend.
We then work with the organization’s Benefits/HR Department experts to implement the Rx-Tractor program and develop a customized communications strategy to reach out directly to the organization’s employees and dependents. The Rx-Tractor program’s software will automatically “Xtract” high-cost specialty drug Rx orders and direct them appropriately for fulfillment.
